How do I join a Challenge on Brandvocat?
To support a favorite brand, just click the Join button. Brandvocat will then notify you with Challenge details such as the start date, the end date, and the types of rewards.
How does Brandvocat work?
First you have to connect with Facebook (Later on, we’ll include Twitter, Google+ and LinkedIn, too). Search for brands having Challenges scheduled to run in the immediate future. Explore the prize pool, the Ambassador’s Reward, and join if you like. You’ll be notified in e-mail days before the start of the Challenge you’ve joined. When the Challenge is active, watch your e-mail and pay attention to your Brandvocat mobile app (not available in Beta for every major mobile platform), since we notify you that way about new content to share. Don’t forget to Like our Facebook Page, it is an important source of information for you. When you come to know there’s a new content in the particular Challenge you’ve joined, visit that page and share that content through the Brandvocat website. Share it immediately in order to earn time bonuses. At the end of the Challenge, the one who shared the most content and did it the quickest will earn the Ambassador’s Prize, and everybody else will be rewarded each according to his performance.

Luck is not a factor. At Brandvocat, the more you help, the more you get. The competition is crystal clear and rules are public. You can read the rules of the game here. At the end of each Challenge, learn about your performance and that of other participants, and enjoy the coupons and giveaways that your favorite brand has rewarded you with. Don’t forget to recommend brands that you’d like to support.

What happens when I push the share button?
The same that happens when you push a Share button on Facebook, or a Tweet button on a blog: you share content on your social networks. You only have to push one button to share on each connected social networks. You help your brand by spreading the word. And brands are always grateful for their advocates.
Isn’t that spamming?
No, and here’s why: you only share one piece of content one time. The Promote button works like the other social buttons, the only difference is that you get some points on Brandvocat when you share.
What are the prizes?
Prizes greatly vary depending on the brand is running the Challenge, but generally they will be giveaways and discounts. We at Brandvocat encourage brands to offer as many special prizes as possible - goods or opportunities they wouldn’t otherwise have the chance to get.
Why would brands provide rewards of high value for just pushing some buttons?
From their point of view, this is brand-advocacy and they are grateful for it. By getting attention on social channels, they earn marketing value. They say thank you by offering a prize pool for the community of fans who help them.
I didn`t provide the required permissions for Facebook to share when I first joined Brandvocat. How may I still participate in a Brandvocat campaign?
You can only participate in any Brandvocat campaign, if you allow our Facebook App to share. If you missed or denied this when signing up, then the easiest solution for this problem is signing out Brandvocat and signing out Facebook one after another, then, signing in Brandvocat again. If you do so, the permission request pop-up will appear again and after granting this permission you`re more than welcome to play with us.
How much do I have to share to earn the grand prize?
Brandvocats compete each other on how much of the pre-defined content they share and how quickly they do it. If there are a low number of participants, you can become the Ambassador easier. If there are unique prizes, more people will join and the competition will be tougher. It’s a fun game.
How can I be the number one advocate?
You can become the Ambassador of a Challenge by sharing all of the content and be the fastest to share.
Does it matter how many friends and followers I have?
No. Everyone is equal at Brandvocat, and every single participant of any given Challenge has the same chance to reach the top prize. We have one limitation though: your Facebook account must have at least 50 friends connected with, in order to filter malicious or fake accounts.
Does it matter how many social networks did I connect?
Sometimes it does. Every Challenge is different and depends on which social channels they include. You can learn about this in the days leading up to the Challenge. If the certain Challenge will use multiple social channels, you can earn more points by connecting each of these network profiles to Brandvocat.
How many people win?
There is one distributed among participants, so it’s almost sure you’ll earn some kind of reward. Even in the case you’ve joined but not shared at all, most brands offer discount coupons just to thank you for joining.
Will the results be public at the end of a Challenge?
Yes, we even have a leader board. Keeping the competition fair and the rules public and easily understandable are our first priority!
I`ve joined a challenge, but I didn`t win anything. How could this happen?
If you join a challenge, but you don`t share content in the challenge at all, you don`t generate any promotional value for the brand behind this challenge. SinceBrandvocat is a site for those, who are zealous for a brand, being ready and capable of helping this brand whith shares, joining alone doesn`t represent value. Even if someone joins more challenges one by one, but doesn`t share any content, he takes the chance away from others playing the game, therefore such the accountof such a user will be suspended on Brandvocat. That`s why it is so much important to provide the notification email address in the settings correctly.
